Walk Thru the Bible Ministries Lanka enters into the 16th year of serving the Sri Lankan Church in Bible Teaching and Training. In the midst of persecution in some parts of Sri Lanka, Word of God commands us, "Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season." (2 Timothy 4:2) 

A Bible Teacher Training was held in Vavuniya from June 02nd to 04th, 2014 and 38 participated from all 5 Districts of Northern Province, Vavuniya, Killinochchi, Mullaitivu, Mannar and Jaffna.

Another Bible Training was held in Galle from June 05th to 07th, 2014 and 63 participated. Participants were from Districts of Galle, Matara, Hambantota, Colombo, Gampaha, Puttalum, Kurunegala, Kandy, Matale and Polonnaruwa.

We thank God for both the Trainings and all who participated. May God use them mightily to teach the Word of God to others in season and out of season.

In 2013, we conducted 2 National Trainings, in Anuradapura and in Colombo.

In 2012, We thank & praise God for enabling us to have 1 Training, in Killinochchi (Northern Province) & one Seminar in Mullaitivu (Nothern Province). The Training was held as a residential Training in newly built Anglican Church Training Center in Killinochchi called “Karuna Nilayam”. We specially had this Training for Killinochchi and Mullaitivu Pastors, their wives and Christian leaders. 34 participants completed all the requirements of the Training. 

We thank God for all Sri Lankan Christians who financially contributed to this Training. May the good Lord bless them according to His riches in glory! The theme of the Training was the "Invisible War."

•   Held from 13th to 15th June, 2012

• Seminar held at Mullaitivu on 16th June 2012.
• After many years, we thank God for the opportunity that God gave us to have a Bible Seminar in Mullaitivu. This was organized through the Mullaitivu Pastors Fellowship and many churches responded. There were 115 participants including children. As Mullaitivu pastors requested from us, we were able to take 80 Tamil Bibles and 50 New Testaments so that they could distribute them to the believers who did not own Bibles. “Walk Thru the Bible” South Asian Director, Rev. V. Sathyabal was the main Bible Teacher in this Seminar.  We thank God for all who contributed to this program in many ways. All glory be unto God!

Pray for God’s Wisdom & Guidance as we prayerfully plan the ministry activities, the rest of 2013 and beyond.

We thank and give all the glory unto God for all what He has done through this ministry. From 1999 to 2012, God through Christ Jesus gave us His grace to organize Training Camps in all the 9 Provinces in Sri Lanka and to train 836 Bible Teachers in all the 25 Districts and also in almost every Christian Denomination in Sri Lanka.

Pray for God’s protection for our staff and all the 836 Pastors/Bible Teachers as they go and teach God’s Word in every part of Sri Lanka including North and East which were war affected areas.
Pray for God’s provision for Trainings, Seminars and to produce Tools such as Bible Teaching Videos/ Seminar Books in Sinhala and Tamil and provide for Pastors/ Bible Teachers at a subsidized rate especially for those who serve in remote/ difficult and war affected areas in Sri Lanka.
